Ethical Tips

While previous posts talked about changing ways to become more sustainable, there are little modifications one can do to help the environment. This is the final post on this blog as some things must come to an end.

The following ways are quick and easy, while still being ethical.

1.     Tote Bag

Something as simple as purchasing a tote bag and reusing it is already helping the planet and avoiding pollution. Plastic pollution is at an all-time high and doing something as little as reusing a bag without buying plastic bags is helpful. There are countless of purposes of using a tote bag. This could be using it as your weekly trip to the supermarket to holding your laptop and other essentials for uni. Moreover, a tote bag is stylish that goes with your outfit no matter what colour worn and adds to the outfit. Tote bags are made from organic cotton, linen and sometimes hemp materials. These materials are safe for the environment as discussed in a previous post on this blog. The bags can withstand a great amount of weight depending on what an individual chooses to put in it. However, tote bags are much cheaper and last longer than plastic bags.

2.     Shop Timeless Pieces

One of the most ethical things to do is shopping for certain pieces of clothing that will never go out of style. This could be buying a leather jacket that is popular and timeless to wear in the autumn/fall and winter term. Furthermore, this prevents an individual from buying on impulse on items they do not necessary need. In addition, this helps an individual unlearn this behaviour and become better and kinder to the environment. If it is difficult, then shopping second hand is the next alternative such as Depop and charity shops.
